Materials for construction are selected based on the fluid’s properties, with options including stainless steel for corrosion resistance or cast iron for durability in abrasive applications.
Installation and maintenance focus on ensuring seal integrity and preventing clogging. The pump must be positioned above any settled solids to avoid drawing in debris. Periodic checks of the power cable insulation and seal condition are recommended.
